Shehu Sani’s aide ‘kidnapped in Kaduna’

Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna central, says Bashir Ahmed, his aide, has been kidnapped by masked gunmen in the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna state.

According to a Facebook post by Sani, the kidnap took place on December 8, with witnesses stating that the kidnappers mistreated Ahmad before carting him off to an undisclosed location.

Prior to his kidnap, Ahmad had received reports from neighbors who hinted him that some armed men came looking for him at his residence, Sani alleged.

With the obvious threat to his life, he reported the issue to the police, but was still kidnapped, according to the senator.

Sani said security agencies have been alerted and expressed hope that his aide would be rescued.

“We have alerted the relevant security agencies and will continue to put all efforts until we secure his freedom,” he said.

“We will put him in prayers and will one hundred percent stand by him through his travail until he returns home insha Allah.”

  1. I WONDER WHY KIDNAPPING IS RAMPANT IN KADUNA. THE KADUNA STATE GOVERNOR MUST DO SOMETHING URGENTLY TO TACKLE THE MENACE.
