Opukiri Jones Ere, media aide to Samson Siasia, says the embattled former Super Eagles coach’s lawyer will look into the recent FIFA’s life ban handed to him.

Siasia who expressed shock over his ban by FIFA and called for a press conference was unavoidably absent on Saturday to clear the air surrounding the issue.

Ere said the Olympic silver and bronze medal-winning coach who accused the world soccer ruling body of dishing out punishment without contacting him will brief the press in due course.

FIFA’s hammer is coming on the heels of emotional turmoil Siasia is presently going through following the kidnap of his mother Ogere since July.

On August 16, 2019, FIFA banned Siasia from the game for life, following a match-fixing investigation.

  1. So sorry his Mother was kidnapped. But there is nothing that Samson SiaSia can do about the FIFA life ban. Maybe after series of investigation by FIFA, they may forgive him and remove the ban. Am sure that he won’t collect bribe again.
