The Dream Team defeated their Japanese counterparts in their first Rio Olympics game. Obviously, arriving Brazil five hours to the match did not affect the players.
Their feat earned them commendation from Nigerians and football fans across the globe. The Nigerian embassy in the United Kingdom was also not left out.
