Skot Communications has acquired the assets of Hill & Knowlton Nigeria Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of WPP Scangroup Plc.

The acquisition, according to a statement by Skot on Thursday, enables the communications consultancy firm to commence local and international operations leveraging the portfolio of customers, talent, and expertise of Hill & Knowlton.

“The company, based in Nigeria and the UK, is founded by Tokunboh George-Taylor, a communications leader with over 30 years in the industry and the pioneering Managing Director of Hill+Knowlton Nigeria,” Skot said. 

“She was instrumental in establishing the firm as a successful player in the market, providing strategic communications counsel and exceptional service to clients across diverse industries.

“Skot believes that the human voice is the most powerful thing in the world. Without it, change is silenced, and with it, impossibility becomes possible.” 

The company said it operates by the principle that every individual and corporation has a unique story to tell, and “it is finding your voice that makes all the difference”.

According to the statement, Skot is a multinational corporation established in various sectors such as finance, energy, consumer services, technology, healthcare, entertainment, sports, education, and women.

Speaking on the transaction, George-Taylor expressed excitement about the company’s new venture.
