Skrtel heads late leveller for 10-man Reds against the Gunners

Martin Skrtel headed home a late equaliser to salvage a point for Liverpool against Arsenal cancelling out strikes from Olivier Giroud and Mathieu Debuchy to end the game 2-2 at Anfield in the Barclays Premier League.

Liverpool took the lead minutes before half-time thanks to a superb strike from Philippe Coutinho but it was short-lived as Debuchy scored the equaliser moments later.

Arsenal then took the lead in the second half through Giroud, before the Reds saw Fabio Borini sent off in added time after receiving a second yellow.

Despite playing with 10-men, Skrtel headed home a late-gasp equaliser for Brendan Rodgers’ side, denying Arsene Wenger and the Gunners the maximum points.
