The soldiers who sustained injuries in the suicide bomb attack at a military checkpoint in the Konduga area of Borno state have died.
The incident happened around 8pm on Wednesday.
A witness had told TheCable that a female bomber took one of the soldiers unawares by pretending to be asking for his telephone number.
“The soldier did not know what she was up to. She was chatting with him and before he knew it she had detonated her explosive,” the witness had said.
