Speaking on behalf of Buhari and Amaechi

On the condition that Buhari were not in government now, he would have joined his political party to speak against the person in power, but he is in power right now, so he cannot speak against himself, hence speaking for him. I know baba wants to speak, but he cannot, because he cannot be leading an ineffective government and still speak against the unproductiveness of the same administration.

How do I mean? I doubt if Nigeria was this badly run in 2014 when baba, Amaechi and others protested against Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his administration. They called it, “Salvation Rally,” but Buhari, Amaechi and all those who protested against GEJ have been in power for more than five (5) years, but Nigeria is still in search of salvation! Currently, I hate our version of politics, so you cannot accuse me of being political. When I speak, I do not speak for Nigerians, but Nigeria. The reason I do not speak for Nigerians is because they hate themselves, but love their oppressors.

In the month of November, 2014, the All Progressives Congress (APC) was allowed to protest against Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his administration in the Federal Capital Territory, because he was more of a democrat than PMB and his political party. Today, no one dares to hold any rally against Buhari and his administration. They said there was no democracy when GEJ was in power, but do we have democracy today under the leadership of President Buhari?

During what they called “Salvation Rally,” they said the government of Goodluck was playing politics with Boko Haram. Since baba started paddling the canoe of Nigeria, we have been told so many things about Boko Haram. We have been told that they have been “defeated, technically defeated and degraded.” There was a time we were told that Boko Haram was dead that all we were seeing were just some kicks of a dying horse. But till this time that I am writing this article, we are daily losing our precious brothers and sisters in the North and our priceless-soldiers! It has become so bad and sad that Katsina people had to come out protesting against one of their own. When that happened, no one could call them wailers. I wonder where Buhari will retire to when he finally leaves Aso Rock.
If the administration of GEJ was playing politics with Boko Haram, I wonder what the administration of PMB is doing with that dreaded sect. I remember what Amaechi said during the so called “Salvation Rally,” “today, the President must tell us why our brothers and sisters are dying in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa States and they are enjoying in Abuja. The President must answer why he is comfortable and Nigerians are dying.” Five (5) years into the administration of Buhari, it is not only in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa States that our precious brothers and sisters are dying, Katsina, Kaduna, Plateau…States and virtually everywhere in Nigeria is heavily insecure!

Like Amaechi said in 2014, I want to speak on his behalf now, because he cannot speak against the government he is part of, because if another person were in power, he would have joined other jesters to hold another “Salvation Rally,” “President Buhari must tell us why our brothers, sisters and soldiers are dying on a daily basis in Nigeria and he is Abuja enjoying himself.” While Nigerians await baba’s response to the question I just asked him on behalf of Amaechi, let me move on to other things that were said during the lackluster rally.

After Amaechi’s presentation, Gen. Buhari also said and I quote, “if you want a secure and efficient Nigeria, you just have to vote out the PDP.” Baba and others went on to accuse GEJ of “gross incompetence and unprecedented display of impunity.” If PMB were out of power and he is in Daura, evaluating the ongoing administration being led by another person that he does not like, he would have said that the man and his political party should be voted out in 2023, because the current administration is worse than that of GEJ and I speak within the context of incompetence and impunity!

Is Nigeria more secure and efficient than she was during the leadership of the man from Otuoke? Things are worse today than it was when GEJ was in power. The man who walked barefooted to school was accused of disobeying court orders, but can it be said that the man who could not afford 27million naira APC presidential form in 2014 is doing better in power? Those who are still sane in Nigeria know that the right answer is no.

Can it be said that Buhari has been obeying court orders since he got to power? PMB is a very lucky man, because virtually every pseudo activists of ours—that we are having in Nigeria—who protested against GEJ have now suddenly become dumb and lame on their feet. Most of them are either eating in government or eating from it. And you know you cannot protest against an administration that you are benefiting from. When they marched against GEJ then, Nigerians thought it was about Nigeria, but they did not know it was about their pockets and stomachs!
Did GEJ lead Nigeria well? I will be insane to say yes. And is Buhari currently leading Nigeria better than GEJ did lead Nigeria when he was in power? It is up to the “suffering and smiling” Nigerians to answer.
