There was a fire outbreak at the United African Company (UAC) building at Marina, Lagos Island, on Thursday.
The incident led to the evacuation of staff who were in the building.
According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the inferno started around 12 pm.
The fire shattered glasses and razed some property.

Videos and pictures showed smoke billowing from one of the top floors of the building.
The agency said fire service officials were immediately deployed to the scene to contain the fire.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) also tweeted pictures of the incident.

A Twitter User, @Pyt_Faith, who appears to be a staff in the company, expressed concerns over her property in the building.
