Delectable actress, Stephanie Linus, has offered assistance to 20 people affected by Vesico Vaginal Fistula (VVF), a disability experienced by some women after childbirth.
VVF occurs more in young women whose bodies are not yet mature for the rigours of childbirth, and the consequence of such damage is the victim’s inability to control the flow of urine or faeces.
However, with the aid of Extended Hands Foundation, an organisation established by Linus, SNEPCo and NNPC, some women underwent free surgeries at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
