Stock market report: Seplat gains again

Reports from the trading floor of the Nigerian Stock Market reveal that the All Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 103.92 to close at 38,585.99 on Wednesday.

At the end of trading activities for the day, Market Capitalisation also appreciated by N35 billion to end at N12,702 trillion.

A total of 321,983,165 shares valued at N3,236,056,771.37 were traded in 3,952 deals.

Seplat led the gainers’ table for the second day running, adding N33.13 to end day at N696.12.

Mobil followed with an appreciation of N8.50 to close at N123.50.

Guinness gained N3.98 to close at N180.00, while Wapco added N1.97 to close at N111.99.

Cap led the losers’ table, losing N1.35 to close at N39.00.

Dangote Cement and Julius Berger followed, losing N1.28 and N0.90 to close at N224.64 and N68.50, respectively.

Continsure was the most traded equity, trading 99,056,750 shares worth N97,078,819.50
