Pan Yoruba Youth group, Yoruba Revolutionary Assembly (YORA), has accused Adams Oshiomhole, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), over what it described as constant attack of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The group said the time had come for President Muhammadu Buhari to call Oshiomhole to order as Nigerians would no longer tolerate his maligning of the integrity of the leadership of INEC.
The group in a statement issued in Lagos on Thursday and signed by Olarinde Joe, its secretary-general, said Oshiomhole should by now get over his “self-imposed disappointments on the APC during the last general election and look forward to how he can repair the damages that his leadership has brought on the ruling party”.
The group further said it wondered why the chairman of the ruling party, who is supposed to be bridge builder, has chosen to “become an antagonist of a neutral body like INEC”.

“As stakeholders in the Nigerian project, we appeal to the APC National Chairman, to know that he is a lone ranger in this infamous adventure and should therefore immediately count INEC out of any misfortune that the APC might have suffered during the election, which all available evidence have shown, are the handiwork of Mr Oshiomhole,” the statement read.
“Finally, we wish to remind Mr. Adams Oshiomole that no matter the amount of his self-inflicted anger, INEC will continue to carry out its duties with competence and unbending neutrality, without succumbing to the antics and desperations of politicians like him.”
