A suicide-bomber has killed five people and wounded dozens near a mosque in Borno State, according to a report by Reuters.
The attack, which took place in Konduga village, Borno State, happened on Friday but only came to outside knowledge on Saturday.
Reuters reported that an unnamed security source said Muslims were observing their Juma’at prayers when a pick-up van laden with an explosive device headed for the mosque.
The driver was challenged by members of a local vigilante group and the bomber quickly detonated the bomb.

He died instantly, killing four others and injuring passers-by.
This incident happened days after an early-money truck bomb attack on the Monday Market in Maiduguri, the state capital, which killed dozens.
Boko Haram has its operational base in Borno State but it is yet to claim responsibility for the attacks.

It should be clear to any discerning observer now that the worst act of injustice one can do is to call Boko Haram an Islamic sect. Would an Islamic organisation bomb a mosque?
If BH isn’t Islamic what then is it? It is a knwn fact different denominations within Islam also kill themselves at will. Do u need hard and glaring facts, mister?
