Abdullahi Sule, governor of Nasarawa, has sent a list of 17 commissioner nominees to the state house of assembly for screening and confirmation.

Ibrahim Abdullahi, speaker of the Nasarawa assembly, read the list during the sitting on Friday.

According to the law, the president and governors are mandated to send the list of cabinet members to the legislature within 60 days of taking the oath of office for ratification. The deadline ends today.

In March, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Abdullahi Sule as the winner of the Nasarawa governorship election.
