Super Eagles maintain position in latest FIFA ranking

Super Eagles of Nigeria are still among the top 50 in the world after maintaining their 45th position in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday.

The team played no game – like most other countries – in the month under review hence the stability on the ranking.

Nigeria are eight in Africa while Algeria, number 20 in the world, remain top of the log in the continent.

The top 17 positions are unaltered from last month, which means that Germany continue to lead the way ahead of Argentina and Belgium.
