The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on the Mena of Niger in an international friendly match in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, September 8.
Mohammed Sanusi, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) general secretary, said that discussions are on-going with the Rivers state government to have the match at the Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium.
“We are holding talks with the Rivers state government, and the NFF is positive that the Super Eagles and Mena will play at the Amiesiamaka Stadium on September 8,” he told the official website of the federation.
“The truth is that we still have a few loose ends to tighten before we can say that the match is sealed. Of course, we have confirmation from the Niger Football Federation that they have accepted to play the Super Eagles.”
