Ademola Lookman scored four goals as the Super Eagles steamrolled Al Gharbia FC, a local team based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), 12-0 in a training match on Sunday.
Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon also grabbed a brace each as Nigeria defeated the Dubai-based team in Abu Dhabi.
A goal each from Sadiq Umar and Ahmed Musa and two own goals from the Emirati side completed the rout for the Eagles in a warm-up match ahead of the forthcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Al Gharbi is a team in the UAE’s third division and paraded a Nigerian midfielder.

Calvin Bassey and substitutes Alex Iwobi and Bright Osayi-Samuel gave a good account of themselves as an aggressive Eagles team laid siege on their opponent’s defence line in a one-sided encounter.
Ojo Olorunleke, the Enyimba goalkeeper, also came in for Francis Uzoho in the second half. Olorunleke then stopped a penalty to maintain Nigeria’s clean sheet.
The Super Eagles are billed to face Guinea in another friendly match on Monday.

The game will conclude Nigeria’s for a one-week training in Abu Dhabi, and the team will return to Lagos on January 9 before proceeding to Ivory Coast a day later.
The 34th edition of the AFCON is expected to kick off on January 13 and end on February 11.
The Eagles will play their first match against Equatorial Guinea on January 14.
