The Eagles, who missed out on the Mundial, will be using the match to prepare ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers billed to resume in March next year.
The game will be the first time Nigeria and Los Ticos will be facing each other at the men’s senior national team level.
The match will take place seven days before the Eagles travel to Lisbon to play Portugal on November 17.
TheCable reported that Nigeria recorded their third loss under Jose Peseiro when they were beaten 2-1 by Algeria in a friendly match last month.
