Super Falcons on Monday failed in their bid to qualify for the 2020 Olympics Games after playing out a 1-1 draw with Cote D’Ivoire at the Agege stadium in Lagos.
The nine-time African champions had a goalless draw in the first leg away in Abidjan on Thursday.
The away goal rule was key to the Ivorians booking their place in the Olympics final qualification series.
Nina Kapho of Cote D’Ivoire got the visitors ahead in the 12th minute of play.
