In July, TheCable had reported that Randy Waldrum invited 26 players to an 8-day training camp in Vienna, Austria, ahead of the competition.
Some of the stars invited were Desire Oparanozie, Francisca Ordega, Rasheedat Ajibade and Ashleigh Plumptre, a new invitee who rejected England for Nigeria.
While at the training camp, footage of the girls being harassed by a Nigerian man in public transport went viral.

In the video, the middle-aged man, who identified as a former player of Julius Berger FC, stood up from his seat and started addressing the players in the bus.
He then began to lambast the Super Falcons players while accusing them of representing a “terrorist government that’s killing the you.”
