Super Falcons will ‘come out smoking’ against Equatorial Guinea

Mansur Abdullahi, Falconets assistant coach, says the Super Falcons will be on top of their game when they face Equatorial Guinea in the final Group B match of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria thumped Zambia 4-0 in their second match while Equatorial Guinea lost 7-1 to South Africa.

“The girls will come out smoking,” the former Bayelsa Queens coach told TheCable.

“We have the players to get the job done but this is a tough game for sure.

“So Thomas Dennerby and his team should watch out and not be complacent in the match.

“The girls need to be focused, play the match without any stress and let them put the win against Zambia behind them.

“They should be good to go against Equatorial Guinea. The technical do not need to put the ladies under any form of pressure.

“There should be no room for complacency as victory remains the ultimate target. Victory for us is what is non negotiable and now is the time for us to show the winning spirit.”

The Super Falcons are billed to face Equatorial Guinea later on Saturday.
