A recent Ipsos survey commissioned by Google reveals a surge in optimism and excitement in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) among Nigeria’s online population.
The study, titled, ‘Our Life with AI: From Innovation to Application’, is part of a global survey conducted across 21 countries.
According to the findings, 70 percent of Nigerian respondents have used generative AI in the past year, surpassing the global average of 48 percent.
The report said 87 percent of those surveyed expressed confidence in AI’s potential benefits, believing it outweighs its associated risks.
