Aminu Tambuwal, speaker of the house of representatives, has advised Nigerians not to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the forthcoming election, saying the ruling party does not have the interest of the nation at heart.
Tambuwal said he and some of his colleagues who left the party would have been richer if they stayed but their love for the country made them take the decision.
Tambuwal was speaking on Sunday during a town hall meeting in Tsafe Emirate, Zamfara state.
“Many patriotic Nigerians who felt the need to change the course of our country have protested the inept administrative style visited on this country,” he said.

“They made their voices known by abandoning the PDP and teaming up with progressive-minded Nigerians.
“Remaining in the PDP would have the easy option for us. We would have been richer and would been enjoying the benefits of being in the same political camp with the federal government. But we chose a different option because we felt enough is enough. We felt Nigeria deserves better leadership that is why we are in the APC.
“So a vote for PDP would be undignified. We must re-discover our self-worth as a people; we must move the country forward.”

Yes Oh! You would have been handed your own sacks of US Dollars for distribution if you had remained in PDP!
Poor Nigeria! Tambuwal, so public service is all about riches? Regardless, I believe for you it is riches deferred, as your eyes are set on Sokoto.
