Aminu Tambuwal, governor of Sokoto state, said his government will rebuild the Kara Yankatako market in the state, which was razed down by fire in Sokoto last Saturday.
Speaking when visited the scene of the incident, Tambuwal said a committee has been set up to ascertain what led to the outbreak and make necessary recommendations to government.
He said his administration will put in place adequate safety measures that will ensure an end to frequent fires at public places.
According to Imam Imam, spokesman of the governor, the committee, which has Bello Adamu as chairman, has been given a month to conclude its assignment.

Imam said the committee is expected to advise government on the appropriate assistance to render to the victims.
