Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris now highest-paid celebrity couple

According to a Forbes ranking of top 100 celebrity earners, American pop queen Taylor Swift and her new Scottish DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris are now the highest-earning celebrity couple in the world.

The pair, who are starting a fresh relationship – as far as the public is concerned – climbed over the former reigning top couple Beyoncé and rapper husband Jay Z, who have been dominating the list for the last two years.

Swift has cashed in on lucrative endorsement deals with Sony, Diet Coke and Keds to add to earnings from performance tours and music royalties, while her boyfriend Calvin Harris also has also made bank off endorsement deals with Giorgio Armani and Sol Republic headphones.

Swift and Harris have earned a combined $146 million to surpass Beyoncé and Jay Z’s combined earnings of $110.5 million.

Forbes is set to release its annual list of top 100 earning celebrity couples on Monday. Last year, Beyoncé topped the list with estimated earnings of $115 million and Jay-Z was at sixth position with an estimated $6o million in the bank.

Taylor was at 18th with estimated earnings of $64 million dollars and Calvin was at 21 with $66 million.
