GetEquity, a Nigerian-based investment platform, has rescheduled its proposed startup festival for November 19, 2022.
The startup festival is themed “Building the Future”.
The one-day event would now hold at Glitz Event Centre, Lekki, Lagos, hosting over 2000 tech and startup enthusiasts.
According to GetEquity, the event will bring the Nigerian tech ecosystem together with investors and supporters by creating a space that fosters innovation, networking and synergy across several sub-sectors within the ecosystem.

The company also said the event would feature two major sessions: the conference and the exhibition.
“The conference will drive conversation around issues within the African startup industry and how to navigate through them. Talks and panel discussions featuring keynote speakers from different sub-sectors in the industry will also be part of the lineup,” the company said.
“This will bring founders, tech enthusiasts and attendees up to speed on development within the industry as well as provide insights on how to tackle different problems within their sub-sectors.

“The exhibition session will feature over 50 Startups from across Africa, talking about their products and services as well as their journey so far to investors and potential customers from all around the world.
“There will also be a pitch competition at the event where different Startups at different levels of growth will have the opportunity to win millions of naira and the possibility of getting listed on GetEquity.”

Top-notch professionals, lawyers and tech experts have been listed as speakers for the event. They include Kanyinsola Mba, head, employee experience at Sahara Group; Kemi Ogunmuyiwa, CEO, Hirefoster and head of People, Ops, Zedi Africa; Emmanuel Faith, lead, people and culture at Cowrywise; Wunmi Akinfemiwa, product marketing manager, Orchestrate; Samuel Akinlotan, talent acquisition leader.
