The supreme court will deliver judgement on the legal tussle between Seriake Dickson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who was declared winner of the poll and Timipre Sylva, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress who challenged the victory.
Sylva had approached the election petitions tribunal which upheld Dickson’s election.
Not satisfied by the verdict of the tribunal, the APC candidate took his case to the appeal court, which also affirmed the decision of the tribunal, and he headed to the apex court.
