Ahead of Sunday church services, the Department of State Services (DSS) has advised the public to be vigilant following the stealing of 13 pieces of Catholic reverend sisters’ regalia from a tailor’s shop in Kano.
This is contained in a statement issued by Ms Marilyn Ogar, the spokeswoman of the service, in Abuja on Saturday.
The statement said unidentified persons broke into the shop at 55, Odutola Street, Sabon Gari, Kano, on August 20, and made away with the regalia.
“With the recent trend of female suicide bombings in the country, the theft of these regalia heightens concerns about the possibility of terrorist elements using same to perpetrate act of terror.
