Terrorism will be over soon, says Zulum as he visits Buratai

Babagana Zulum, governor of porno state, visited Tukur Buratai, chief of army staff in Abuja on Monday.

While commending the military for its efforts in the fight against insurgency, the governor said” “Terrorism will soon be a thing of the past.”

The governor thanked the federal government and the military for their support to the people and the government of Borno and solicited for more support and cooperation to ensure the successful completion of the war against insurgency in the state.

He said his visit to Buratai was aimed at “cross-fertilisation of ideas” that would help to improve the counter insurgency/counter terrorism operations, saying the battle needed to be taken to the enclaves of the insurgents.
