The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) says it will host a five-day exhibition to showcase the latest innovations in research and development.
Tahir Mamman, the minister of education, said the research fair is to begin on November 17 at Eagle Square in Abuja.
The event, he said, will bring together researchers, inventors, and creators to share their cutting-edge projects and visionary ideas.
The minister said intense consultation is ongoing with institutions and organisations that can partner with TETFund to drive interest and encourage organisations and individuals to participate.

He said the consultations will identify technologies to establish new enterprises and enhance the performance of existing businesses.
Mamman said TETFund is deliberately organising the fair for researchers, inventors, and creators who express interest in showcasing their technologies to participate.
This event, he said, will be open to the general public to attend free of charge.

The minister further said all additional details about the fair can be accessed on the TETFund website.
Sonny Echono, the executive secretary of TETFund, said the fair is not limited to its beneficiary institutions.
“Research institutes, private inventors, and digital creators, if you know you have done anything that will lead to the creation of jobs, the development of products and services, or the improvement of the lives of our people, come and showcase,” he added.
