Transport for Abuja (TFA), a commuting company, says it is dedicated to reducing carbon emissions and promoting eco-friendly transportation solutions.
It added that it intends to contribute to a greener and more sustainable future for the federal capital territory (FCT).
In a statement, TFA said it is “embarking on a groundbreaking journey to transform urban commuting in the capital city”.
“With its inauguration ceremony held at Eagle Square, CBD, Abuja, TFA signals its entry into the transportation sector amidst an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation,” the statement reads.

“The event underscores the significance of this new venture in reshaping the landscape of urban mobility.”
TFA added that it is committed “to addressing the challenges faced by commuters in Abuja”.
It also said it would be providing a fast, reliable, and cost-effective alternative to traditional transportation methods, in order to “enhance the overall quality of life for residents and visitors alike”.

TFA listed some of its innovative approaches as efficient service, strategically planned routes covering key areas of Abuja, safety and environmental sustainability.
“To celebrate the commencement of this new project, TFA is excited to offer free rides from March 1st to March 7th, 2024, as part of our commitment to accessible and affordable transportation for all,” the statement added.
