TheWill Downtown appoints Eki Ogunbor as lifestyle editor-at-large

THEWILL DOWNTOWN, a Nigerian magazine, has appointed Eki Ogunbor, as lifestyle editor-at-large of the organisation.

Austyn Ogannah, publisher and editor-in-chief of THEWILL newspaper and THEWILL DOWNTOWN, announced the appointment in a statement on Friday.

Ogannah said Ogunbor was appointed alongside Ntianu Obiora, who will serve as the online editor of the magazine.

He said the appointments were made in order to “strengthen and expand the magazine’s digital footprints”.

Ogunbor is an award winning lifestyle and beauty writer with vast experience in managing fashion brands.

In 2017, she launched the BellaNaija Style website and received the fashion writer of the year award at the Abryanz style and fashion awards in 2018.

She is a content creator, an alumna of Condé Nast college and founded FashionVerse Africa, a new media platform for African creatives in fashion.

She also founded KISARA, an African fashion brand which made its runway debut at the Lagos Fashion Week in 2018.

The publisher said Ogunbor would oversee the magazine’s coverage of corporate and social events, and ensure the delivery of high-quality content.

She would also work with Onah Nwachukwu, the executive editor, and other members of the team.

THEWILL DOWNTOWN is a lifestyle magazine published alongside THEWILL.

It was founded by Ogannah, a crown prince of Onicha-Ugbo kingdom, Aniocha north LGA of Delta state, on February 14, 2021.
