The innocent people killed by bandits on the Abuja-Kaduna train are victims of bad governance. They don’t have any fault other than being presided by a government that’s failed to secure Nigerians. For years, bandits have killed and kidnapped; for years, nothing serious is done.

It’s not normal to think that bandits solely have access to explosives to attack a train just to kidnap people, it’s from my own perspective politically motivated to ridicule the efforts achieved by the present administration which it’s decade predecessors could not…..##

I knew it was just a matter of time before these bandits begin to attack trains. This is what you get when you choose to bargain with te.rro.rists, rather than shut them down completely. May Nigeria not be the end of us. Amen. #RIPDRCHINELO

I agree that Nigeria is a goldmine and a place where you can do so much and circumvent the law; I know this is why most of us don’t want to leave
.. but is it really a country worth living if you cannot be quaranteed security and ordinary power supply? #banditsAdvertisement— Day break ambassador ✌️⌚️ (@osichatty) March 29, 2022

Blaming the opposition as if it’s not in your time the ‘Bandits’ grew firm wings. Keep breaking bread with them and allowing Gumi endear them to your hearts.
I don’t mind that they are humanized, but these terrorists are not friends.— let’s vote (@mairo_art) March 29, 2022
So sad that banditry feels like normal in Nigeria.
Who supplies these bandits weapons?
Are they stronger than the army?

This system has every sector looking over their shoulders.
Students at home battling with mental health.
Naira out there fighting decline.
Petrol hikes and scarcity.
Nationwide blackout.
Civil servants impending strikes.
Foreign debts.
And now bandits.— Blue~Blooded✨🦚 🇳🇬🇨🇦 (@Bernardakpan14) March 29, 2022
Are these bandits/Boko Haram members real human beings? Because I don’t even understand. What are they fighting for? why aren’t they going after the government? Why attack struggling citizens?? Wetin this people dey feed on? I hate this world

Boko Haram live in far North, difficult places to locate, according to Nigerian Intelligence sources, what about bandits that live in the centre of Nigeria, are they also difficult to trace?

The train attack is another unfortunate incident, may God deliver us from the ravenous beast called bandits and kidnappers wreaking havoc in our nation.🙏

Buhari once called out GEJ and asked him to resign because of the insecurity and terrorism that was happening in the country. Nowadays the insecurity is even worse than during GEJ’s tenure, terrorists and bandits are doing what they like without any restraint. #BuhariMustResign pic.twitter.com/IVmZRuku7E

Nigerians are now faced with choosing between the devil and the deep blue sea. Travel by road, you are afraid of being killed by bandits, if you are lucky, you will get kidnapped. Travel by rail and get attacked by rogue elements. What of our airline? Did I just hear you say that

May God console the families of victims of the Abuja-Kaduna Fulani Bandits attack. May God grant a peaceful repose of the souls of those departed and speedy healing of the injured. May unexplainable evil befall all those that played politics with peoples lives. #Abujakadunatrain

Now that the trains are grounded, all those oppressing us with sirens and guns at the train station can proceed to Abuja road to oppress the bandits there and leave us alone
— Walid Moukarim IPHM (@wsm4you) March 29, 2022
National security should be top most priority and i hope our leaders know that nobody is safe anymore. People stopped using roads and instead opted for rail service due to insecurity but today the rails are no longer safe, infact these bandits visit people at home. #trainattack

Over the years, we watched as bandits terrorised innocent travellers along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway. Due to fear of attacks, innocent Nigerians deserted the road for the trains. Seeing that there are no “customers” like before, that is when they moved their game the train.
