Security has been beefed up in and around Osogbo, capital of Osun, over the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state.
According to NAN, armed security personnel lined up all major highways in the state capital.
While armed military personnel manned strategic places around the capital; men of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) were busy re-directing vehicular movement around the city.
Osun High School, the venue where the president would be hosted, was surrounded by armed security personnel, while operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) frisked guests before allowing them entrance.

Officials of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) paraded sniffer dogs around the venue.
Policemen from the anti-bomb squad were also at the venue and police helicopters hovered over in aerial surveillance.
Journalists without valid identification tags and invitation cards were not allowed into the venue.
