President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Ahmed Galadima Aminu as the executive secretary and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
In a statement on Tuesday, Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to the president and publicity, said the appointment is for a term of four years in the first instance.
Prior to his appointment, Aminu was the general manager of the education and training department of PTDF.
Ngelale said Aminu’s appointment followed the application for retirement submitted by Bello Aliyu, the outgoing boss of PTDF.
