Tinubu appoints Issa-Onilu as NOA boss, names DGs for NBC, ARCON

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Lanre Issa-Onilu as the director-general (DG) of the National Orientation Agency (NOA).

In a statement on Thursday, Ajuri Ngelale, presidential spokesperson, said the president approved the appointment of Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos as the DG of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

Charles Ebuebu was named as DG of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), while Lekan Fadolapo was appointed as chief executive officer (CEO) of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON).

The president appointed Muhammed Bulama as head of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and Jibrin Baba as DG of Voice of Nigeria.

Ali Muhammed Ali was appointed as the managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) and Dili Ezughah was named as the CEO of the Nigerian Press Council (NPC).

Also, the president approved the appointment of Muhammed Abu Ibrahim as the executive secretary and CEO of the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF).

Tinubu said he expects the new leadership at the fund to “successfully remove all barriers to efficient access to provisional funding in the sector for proven stakeholders nationwide who will credibly contribute to the Renewed Hope Agenda’s mandate in the attainment of complete self-sufficiency in local food production and eventual surplus export”.

He said the appointment takes immediate effect.
