Franklyne Ogbunwezeh, a Nigerian lawyer based in Germany, says President Bola Tinubu lacks the capacity to lead Nigeria effectively.
Speaking during an interview with Rudolf Okonkwo on 90MinutesAfrica on Sunday, Ogbunwezeh expressed doubts about the president’s ability to handle the country’s challenges.
He questioned Tinubu’s policies, particularly his handling of inflation and the naira’s decline.
He said since taking office, the president has failed to introduce effective measures to address these issues.

“President Tinubu does not have the capacity or the competence to govern Nigeria. Even if you give him a hundred years, he won’t know what to do with the country,” he said.
Ogbunwezeh also criticised the removal of the petrol subsidy, noting that no plans were put in place to mitigate the impact on Nigerians.
He challenged the president to show what policies he has implemented to curb inflation or stabilise the naira since assuming office.

“Immediately after, the forces that are hell-bent on making a buck out of every bad situation in Nigeria took over, and now he is overwhelmed,” he added.
Addressing rumours of an impending cabinet reshuffle, Ogbunwezeh said it would not make a difference as long as Tinubu lacks a clear plan for governing the country.
He alleged that the country has been taken over at every level of government by individuals who are more concerned with personal gain than governance.
