Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms will soon bring relief to Nigerians.

Speaking with journalists in Osogbo on Sunday, Oyintiloye, assured citizens that that the president is “actively working day and night” to address the economic challenges.

He said the current economic crisis was not created by Tinubu’s administration, but inherited from previous governments.

He noted that although some of the president’s economic policies might seem tough, they are designed to guide the country towards long-term prosperity.

Oyintiloye added that Tinubu took office at a time when the economy was in decline and that systemic reforms, alongside the patience and understanding of Nigerians, are crucial.

He said the president required the prayers, support, and continued patience of the people to achieve full recovery.

He emphasised that Tinubu’s focus on economic reforms and diversification is helping revitalise key sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, technology, marine, and the blue economy.

Oyintiloye noted that the president has already rolled out the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP), which is set to boost economic growth through strategic investments and reforms.

“Various initiatives are underway to enhance the business environment, attract foreign direct investment, and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs),” he said.

“With a little patience, things will improve, and Nigeria will rise again.”
