Traffic looms in Lekki axis as govt shuts Ajah roundabout

The Lagos state government has announced the closure of Ajah roundabout in Eti-Osa  local government area of the state.

Ganiyu Johnson, commissioner for works and infrastructure, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday.

Johnson said the road will remain closed till the completion of the reinforced concrete flyover, appealing to road users to be cooperative.

He said despite the initial discomfort, the people will benefit from the project in the end, as the flyover will free up the gridlocks often experienced by motorists.
