A train has collided with a truck at Jonathan Coker Road, Iju-Ishaga, Lagos.
Witnesses told TheCable that the driver of the truck conveying pig feeds ignored the horns of the approaching train — which serves as a signal for vehicles to stop crossing the rail track.

The driver of the truck has been arrested by officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
Although there was no casualty from the incident, a tricycle was crushed beyond recognition.
Speaking with TheCable, Kayode Stephen, the tricycle operator, explained that he ran for his life and left his tricycle behind because he could not drive it away from the collision.
“I wanted to relax and my spirit was saying, I should not work, because I want to pay the owner of the tricycle, tomorrow morning. I’m paying him N15,000, every week,” he said.

“So my mind was telling me, I should not work. I was like I have to pay this money. This Keke (referring to the tricycle) and I don’t want to owe the person.”
Security personnel have been deployed to the area to control vehicular movement.
