Alao Kolawole, an individual said to be an official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has been accused of tearing the result sheet of the election held in Ayeedade, Osun state.
Kolawole was apprehended during the Osun governorship election.
The INEC official, in a video which surfaced on Twitter, said he was acting on the instruction of an electoral officer he identified as Mrs Aderinoye.
Kolawole was allegedly caught destroying the result sheet in Osogbo, the state capital and venue of the results collation centre.

The supposed INEC official was apprehended after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alleged that 1,000 votes were deducted from its tally in Ayedaade local government area.
While 10,836 votes were said to have been counted at the polling unit, 9,836 was announced at the collation centre.
When confronted with the allegation, the returning officer said the announced result is correct.
