The defence headquarters says it has arrested two suspects in connection with last year’s bombing at the Gombe Line Transport Service.
Chris Olukolade, director of defence information, said this in a statement issued on Tuesday, disclosing that the suspects were nabbed during a shootout in Gombe on Sunday.
He added that they were tracked at a check point at the Bajoga area of the state after surveillance and intelligence operations.
Olukolade said one of them sustained serious injuries during the encounter and that he is being treated at a military medical centre.
