Troops of the Nigerian army in Dikwa, Borno state, have repelled an attack on their base.
Suspected Boko Haram insurgents had, on Friday, launched an attack on the military super camp, few kilometres from Dikwa town.
Military sources told TheCable that the insurgents came with heavy machine guns and trucks.
“They want to get access to the town, so they launched the first attack at the military camp,” a source said.
