William Troost-Ekong, Super Eagles defender, says the team’s “goal” is to win the forthcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.

Troost-Ekong spoke in a statement by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Wednesday.

NFF said the Eagles have adopted “Let’s Do It Again” as their mantra for the upcoming continental competition.

Speaking on the catchphrase, Troost-Ekong said the mantra was adopted because “it gives us confidence and the go-go push”.

“We have done it before, so we can do it again. Winning the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire is our goal, and we have the team to do just that.”
