TVIO Solutions Limited (TVIO), a marketing and sales promotion agency, has launched a social networking app called ‘Foniso’ for sports fans.
In a statement, the firm described the platform as the “world’s first sports networking app”.
The firm added that Foniso would “transform the interaction and feedback-sharing dynamics among sports enthusiasts, fans, and stakeholders worldwide”.
The app will also help sports enthusiasts find a community and talk exclusively about sports.

“The platform promises unparalleled convenience, security, and connectivity for fans, rising stars, superstars, legends, sports organizations, brands, and more within the global sports ecosystem,” the statement reads.
“This approach fosters focused discussions on individual and collective sports ideas without getting lost in a sea of diverse concerns from other sectors like health, agriculture, and politics, which often divert stakeholders’ attention from resolving sports community issues.

Dominic Essien, group chief executive officer (GCEO) of TVIO, said the app beta release is available across 24 African countries, including the UK, Germany, Spain, and France.
“We are revolutionizing sports in a way that will offer completely new experiences to fans, athletes, sports legends, other industry stakeholders and the public,” he said.
“Our inspiration came from our commitment to ensure that a critical industry like sports is not lost in the social media space, hence the need to create a unique hub for people to engage and enjoy sports globally. With the beta release, the app is now available for test across 24 African countries and in the UK, Germany, Spain and France.”
