Twitter reactions to Christopher Lee’s death

Classic movie villain, Christopher Lee, who was best known for his role as Saruman in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and deadly assassin Francisco Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun, passed away on Sunday after suffering heart and respiratory problems.

Lee died at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital at the age of 93 years.

The news only became public on Thursday morning, as Birgit Kroncke, his wife of over 50 years, took time to inform family members of his demise.

There has been outpouring of love and emotion for the veteran. UK prime minister, David Cameron and so many took to twitter to pay tribute to the late actor.

Other celebrities and fans were not left out too including Sir Roger Moore, the oldest man to have played James Bond.
