Two arraigned for ‘misleading’ police to raid Ekweremadu’s house

Two men – Ahmed Echodo and Maiwada Adamu – have been arraigned at a magistrate court for allegedly misleading the police to carry out a raid on the house of Ike Ekweremadu, deputy senate president.

The police accused the two men of conspiring to falsely inform the office of the inspector general of police (IGP) that Ekweremadu’s house located in Maitama Abuja is used for criminal activities.

At the magistrate court in Gudu, Abuja, Echodo pleaded “not guilty” to the charge on Monday.

Adamu was not present in court to take his plea.

  2. Story for the gods, the Nigerian police is looking for an escape route, but no way. It means they sheepishly follow every order and command. Now they’re looking for excuses.
