Two teenagers and an infant were burnt to death on Wednesday when fire razed a house at Jakande Estate in Mile 2 area of Lagos.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Ibrahim Farinloye, the public relations officer of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), in Lagos on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the fire which started about midnight, destroyed the top floor of block 56 at Jakande Estate where the two teenagers and infant lived.
“Two teenagers and an infant of the same parent were burnt to death in a fire incident that started around 12:30am on Thursday,” NAN quoted NEMA as saying.

“The fire service came to the rescue as soon as the incident was reported to the organisation.”
NEMA added that the names of the deceased were not known, but the cause of the fire incident was being investigated.
