Uba Sani, the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress Party (APC) in Kaduna, says he will empower women and ensure gender inclusion if elected governor in the 2023 election.
Sani said this on Sunday at an event organised by Igabi Women Wins for Uba Sani at the Trade Fair Complex in the state.
He said the number of women in appointment positions will be improved, and that he would ensure proper continuation of female inclusion policy of Nasir El-Rufai, the current governor of Kaduna.
He said the El-Rufai’s administration has women as majority office holders, and that he would provide financial support, capital and skills for women entrepreneurs.
