Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna, has handed over the transition committee report to Uba Sani, the state governor-elect.
El-Rufai handed over the documents to Sani at the Kaduna government house on Saturday.
Speaking during the event, the Kaduna governor said his administration was not “fortunate” to get outgoing officials to brief the transition committee before inauguration in 2015.

He said the transition report given to the governor-elect was a product of the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
He commended members of the transition committee for the work done, while congratulating the governor-elect for having a working document before assuming office.
‘’We were not so fortunate when we came in 2015 because briefings only started after we took office on the 29th of May,” he said

“Then our transition committee had all the materials and documents to prepare a report.
‘’But the fact that our party won the election for the third time, we have had the benefit of getting officials to brief the committee and get this report prepared.”
The Kaduna governor-elect said he will study the reports and implement most of the recommendations.
He commended el-Rufai for all his support, while promising to complete the projects started by the outgoing governor.
