Uba Sani, Kaduna governor, has assured grape farmers in the state of continued government support through the provision of seedlings, mechanisation, and training to improve their yield.
Sani spoke during a meeting with members of the Grapes Producers, Processors, and Marketers Association of Nigeria (NGRAPPMAN).
The group was ed by Abdullahi Dalhatu, its national president, over the weekend.
Speaking at the meeting, the governor said Kudan local government area will remain a hub for grape farming and also benefit from government-backed initiatives to strengthen businesses within the value chain.
